Ruby Jean Archey

Ruby Jean (Crabtree) Archey, age 91, of Galloway, Ohio, passed away on August 10, 2024 at the Arbors West. She was born on August 25, 1932, in Lucasville, Ohio, to the late Link and Didama Crabtree.

Ruby was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandma. She was a West Jefferson Church of Christ in Christian Union (Harvest Chapel) member for many years.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband August, son, David, her 6 sisters, and one brother.

Ruby is survived by her sons, Randy (Cindy) Archey and Roger Archey, daughter-in-law, Pam Archey, her grandchildren, Jeromy (Kim) Archey, Jessica (Jarrett) Bare, Dawn Archey, Russ Archey, Brandi Kennedy, Bryan (Lindsey) Archey, and Matt (Courntey) Archey, 11 great-grandchildren, her brother and sister, and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends for a visitation and funeral service on Friday, August 16, 2024, at the Rader-McDonald-Tidd Funeral Home, 1355 W. Main St., West Jefferson, Ohio, 43162. The visitation will begin at 10:00 am and end at 12:00 PM, and the funeral service will follow immediately at noon. Following the funeral service, we will process to Alton Cemetery.
