Ruby A. Jester

Ruby A. Jester, age 82, a long-time resident of Hilliard, OH, passed away at Edgewater Assisted Living in Plain City, Ohio on Monday, November 6, 2023.  Born in Madison County, Ohio to the late Herman and Alice Hackney, Ruby was also preceded in death by her beloved husband Ron Jester, sisters Dolores Stanley and Mary Smith, and her brother Jack Hackney.  She is survived by her sons Roger Jester and Rex (Ann) Jester, both of Florida, her three granddaughters, brothers Jim Hackney of Plain City, Dean Hackney of Marysville, OH and Gerald (Marion) Hackney of Townsend, MA, and numerous nieces and nephews.  Private services and burial were held at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, West Jefferson, OH.
