Ruby Nell Ooten

Ruby Nell (Caines) Ooten, age 86, of Florida, formerly of West Jefferson, OH, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2019. Ruby and her husband Carlos owned and operated the Ooten Insurance Company in West Jefferson, OH for many years. Ruby is preceded in death by her son: David Ooton, brothers David Caines, Ralph Caines, and Esmond Caines. Ruby is survived by her loving husband of 71 years Carlos S. Ooten, daughter Diane (JR) Grimmett, sister Virginia O'Brien, and sister-in-law Mildred Caines. Ruby's grandchildren: Sean (Julie) Grimmett, Michelle Runyon Fraley, and Dawn (Robert) Chamberlin along with her 7 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren will miss her dearly. The family will receive friends at the RADER-McDONALD-TIDD FUNERAL HOME 1355 W. MAIN ST., WEST JEFFERSON, OH, 43162, Friday, June 14, 2019, from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM with Funeral Services following visitation at 12:00 PM. The family is inviting those who knew and loved her share in a Celebration of Ruby's life at the V.F.W Post 7005 immediately following the funeral services. Interment will follow at Hampton Cemetery, West Jefferson, OH.
