Sandra "Sandy" Conner

Sandy J. Conner, age 74, of Lilly Chapel, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 9, 2023. She was a longtime member of the Lilly Chapel Methodist Church and was active in the UMW women’s group, and she enjoyed participating in all the church functions. She enjoyed camping, traveling, crafting, making floral arrangements, decorating for family and church functions, and she loved telling stories about her and Ralph’s adventures. No matter what the situation was she would leave you smiling and laughing with the stories she would tell, and she was a great storyteller. Sandy was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, gigi, and friend to everyone. Sandy never met a stranger and she was loved by everyone.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Elmer and Virginia Hoffman, sister Candy Brinker, brother Mike Hoffman, and brother-in-law Dan Brinker.

Sandy is survived by her loving husband Ralph Conner of 39 years; daughter Renee (Leonard Jones) Vance, and son Scott “Scotty” Burris; sisters Janice Edwards, Sue (Darren) Burris, brother-in-law Bob (Kathy) Conner, and sister-in-law Dosha Hoffman; grandchildren Jaimie (Daniel) Whiteside, Joshua Vance, Jacob Burris, and Noah Burris; great-grandchildren Hunter Whiteside, Kiptyn Whiteside, and Kaleigh Whiteside; numerous nieces, nephews, her church family, her furry best friend Sassy, many family members, and friends all who loved her deeply.

The family will welcome friends from 5-7 pm, on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at the RADER-McDONALD-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 1355 W. MAIN STREET, WEST JEFFERSON, OHIO, 43162. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home at 10:00 am on WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 13, 2023, with Pastor Tim Rash officiating.  Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, Ohio.
