Theodore Blesedell

Theodore Blesedell, of West Jefferson, Ohio passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2023.  He was born in Columbus, Ohio to John and Naomi (Wheatley) Blesedell.  

Ted worked at Sutphen for 45 years proudly working on and building firetrucks.  In his free time, he greatly enjoyed fishing and being outdoors, especially when that meant getting to work on his yard.  Theodore's 10 dogs were his favorite things on the planet, although he secretly loved the cat too.

He is preceded in death by his father and mother, John and Naomi (Wheatley) Blesedell, His brothers, John Jr, Daniel, Thomas, Frank, and Eddie Blesedell, and his sister, Lola (Blesedell) Dillon.  

Theodore is survived by his beloved wife, Mollie Blesedell, his daughter Tally McLean, sisters, Sue Williamson and Elaine "rocky" King, grandchildren, Austin (Alyssa) McLean, Dallas Mclean, and Taylor (Josh) Warnock and great grandchildren, Landon, Linkan, Aylen and Kimberly.

The Celebration of life for Theordore will be held on September 8th at Lake Choctaw, 2875 Oneida Drive, London, Ohio 43140 from 12-8pm.  We are having a potluck and family/friend gathering to come together and Celebrate Ted's life.
