Theodore Grant “Ted” (Forrest) Wetzel, age 77, of West Jefferson, Ohio, passed away Friday, June 25, 2021, at Mt. Carmel Hospital, Grove City. Born to the late Ben and Jane Forrest, Ted retired from the McLean Company after nearly 25 years of service as a mechanic. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of nearly 60 years, Nancy, who passed just 11 days prior, and by his sister Linda Sue Holcomb. Ted is survived by his sons Mark (Cindy) Wetzel and Kevin Wetzel, his daughter Michelle (Randy) Randolph, grandchildren: Heidi (Josh) Obelenus, Levi (Christina) Wetzel, Tanner Wetzel, Taylor Wetzel, Mira Randolph, and Aundraya Randolph, great-grandchildren: Madison Wetzel, Rileigh Wetzel, and Minerva Obelenus, brother Richard (Debbie) Forrest, sister Hazel Elwood, brothers-in-law Donald Dean (Carolyn) Smith and Charlie (Brenda) Smith, many nieces, nephews, and friends.
