Theodore "Ted" G. (Forrest) Wetzel

Theodore Grant “Ted” (Forrest) Wetzel, age 77, of West Jefferson, Ohio, passed away Friday, June 25, 2021, at Mt. Carmel Hospital, Grove City.  Born to the late Ben and Jane Forrest, Ted retired from the McLean Company after nearly 25 years of service as a mechanic.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of nearly 60 years, Nancy, who passed just 11 days prior, and by his sister Linda Sue Holcomb.  Ted is survived by his sons Mark (Cindy) Wetzel and Kevin Wetzel, his daughter Michelle (Randy) Randolph, grandchildren: Heidi (Josh) Obelenus, Levi (Christina) Wetzel, Tanner Wetzel, Taylor Wetzel, Mira Randolph, and Aundraya Randolph, great-grandchildren: Madison Wetzel, Rileigh Wetzel, and Minerva Obelenus, brother Richard (Debbie) Forrest, sister Hazel Elwood, brothers-in-law Donald Dean (Carolyn) Smith and Charlie (Brenda) Smith, many nieces, nephews, and friends.  Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. THURSDAY at the RADER-MCDONALD-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 1355 West Main Street, West Jefferson, OH 43162 (614)-879-9222 where his Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. FRIDAY, JULY 2, 2021 with burial following at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, Ohio.  If they choose, friends may make memorial contributions to: American Legion Jefferson Post # 201, 9701 West Broad Street, West Jefferson, OH 43162.  Please visit www.radermcdonaldtiddfuneralhome.com.
