Thomas "Tom" Ray, Sr.

Thomas E. Ray, Sr. (Tom), age 75, of West Jefferson passed away peacefully on
Thursday, December 7 th , 2023. He was a lifetime member of CPT Nicholas J.
Rozanski Memorial Post 4931 in Hilliard, serving as a past Commander and
Quartermaster. Tom was a skilled electrician; he worked for Custom Coach for
over 30+ years, was an avid hunter and fisherman, and made many wonderful
memories traveling and spending time with family and friends. He is preceded in
death by his parents, Victor C. and Florence A. Ray. Tom is survived by his loving
wife and best friend of fifty-two years Michelle, sons Thomas Ray Jr. (Nichole) and
Bryant Ray (Jennifer), brothers Donald Ray and David Ray, and his loving
grandchildren Jacob, Jack, Bryce, Gabrielle and Maxton. Private interment will be
at Sunset Cemetery in Galloway with a celebration of life to be announced at a
later date. Donations may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation or CPT
