Virginia "Jenny" Conley

Virginia “Jenny” Conley (Kitchen), 93, of Lilly Chapel, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, July 5th, 2023, surrounded by family.

Born June 5th, 1930 in Blevins, Kentucky. She was the daughter of George and Elizabeth Kitchen.

She attended Fairfield High School and had been a member of Lilly Chapel United Methodist Church. Famous for her home cooking and quilt making, her biggest joy in life was being with her family.

Jenny was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth “Shorty” Conley, in 2011. They were married on August 21st, 1948, and after celebrating 63 years of marriage together on earth, are together once again. She was also preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Darwin (Kelly Stage) Conley as well as 7 brothers
and sisters.

In addition to many family and friends whom she loved dearly, immediate family survivors include daughter Sandra “Kay” Conley of Lilly Chapel, son Darel (Catherine “Kay”) Conley of London daughter-in-law Kelly Stage of Lilly Chapel; grandchildren Casey (Brittany) Conley, Edward (Elaine) Conley; great-grandchildren Ally Conley and Jacy Perkins, Chase Conley, Kaitlynn Chastain; brother George (Jan) Kitchen, sister-in-law Virginia (Ginnie) Kitchen, special friend Linda (David) Wright and her beloved dog Princess.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Linda and David Wright for their friendship and care for Jenny over the years.

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 12th, 2023, at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, West Jefferson, Ohio, with Brother David Wright officiating.
