Walker Cordle

Walker Cordle, 88, of West Jefferson, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on April 7, 2025. He was born in Blaine, Kentucky on July 21, 1936, to Miniard and Molly Cordle.

He is preceded in death by his son Russell Cordle, daughter Velma Cordle, and his grandson, Ryan Lennex.

Walker is survived by the love of his life of nearly 65 years, Ruth Cordle. His children, Grace (Steven) Mitchell, Archie Cordle, Wanetta (Bob) Caudill, and Barbie Pabst. His grandchildren Ronnie (Tasha) Lennex, Ross Caudill, Kyle (Tatianna) Cordle, Zach Cordle, Stephanie (Cory) Brown, Taylor (Jonathan) Justice, Logan and Lily Pabst. Great grandchildren Trisha and Caleb Lennex, Cassius Hampton, Lucas, Noelle Brown, and Anastasia Justice. Walker is also survived by many extended family members as well as neighbors and friends that he considered family.

He belonged to Old Hood Fork United Baptist Church and was a devout believer. He prayed for everyone he knew and loved to know Christ. He loved everyone unconditionally and welcomed them into his home. Walker was a hard worker and loved providing for his family. He retired from Fischer Cast Steele where he worked for 34 years. He cherished the many family gatherings for holidays and special occasions, loved listening to his favorite music, enjoyed tending to his garden, eating his favorite snack cakes, and reminiscing on all of his good memories.

Walker will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. May Walker rest in peace, and may we find comfort in the memories we shared and the hope of eternal life.

Visitation will be held on FRIDAY, April 11, 2025, from 5:00-8:00pm, and SATURDAY, April 12, 2025, from 9:30am-10:30am, at the RADER-McDONALD-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 1355 W. MAIN STREET, WEST JEFFERSON, OHIO, 43162. The Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on SATURDAY, April 12, 2025, at 10:30am. Burial will follow at Hampton Cemetery, West Jefferson, OH.
