Wilson Eugene Black, "Blackie"

Wilson E. Black, 96 years old, passed away on November 17, 2024. 

He is survived by his wife of 74 years, Betty L. Black; son, Roger L. Black; daughters, Debra K. Chester and Terry L. Poole; son-in-law, Ken L Poole; grandchildren, Joe Black, Adam Black, Stephanie Black, Tamala Chester, Tina Chester, Joshua Poole, and Travis Poole; great-grandchildren, Peyton, Levi, Max, Jacob, Leann, Xavior, Trinity, Kyrstin, Vallen, Amaya; great-great-grandchildren, Aiden, Aubriella, Axel, Marshawn, Kiera, and Nathan; 

Wilson worked at Battelle Memorial Institute for 40 years as an Engineer; Wilson served in the United States Air Force as a Corporal from March 7, 1946, thru January 5, 1949, with an Honorable Discharge. Wilson loved airplanes and owned his own airplane. He also loved to fly model airplanes. No matter what you took to Wilson that was broken or not working right he could fix it. Wilson was a very intelligent man and he will be missed and loved forever .. !!
