Tommy Joseph Rees, age 38, of West Jefferson, Ohio, went to Heaven on Tuesday, December 28, 2021.  Born in Columbus, Ohio, he was a graduate of West Jefferson High School, Class of 2002.  Tommy was a firefighter for Jefferson Township Fire Department for the past 6 ½ years.  He also worked as an Assessment Coordinator for Ohio University Dublin Campus.  He attended Hilliard Church of Christ and Cypress Wesleyan Churches.  Tommy was preceded in death by his grandmothers Ida Mae Spaeth and Freda Butterfield.  He is survived by his beloved wife of 10 years Brooke Rees, his loving children: Evelyn (12), Emelya (9), Eileigh (7) and Nash (3), his father Tom Rees, mother Vicki (Gary) McNeal, grandfather Bill Rees, brother Will (Shelly) Richardson and their children Zach and Kyle, sister Louann Van Wagner and her son Aiden, aunts Sandy Rees and Teresa (Dean) Stewart, father-in-law and mother-in-law Leon and Nancy Creamer, grandfathers-in-law Keith Bidwell and Marvin (Dorothy) Creamer, sister-in-law Darby Jaskiewicz and her children Hayley, Kael and Carys, brother-in-law Robin (Rachel) Creamer and their children Ireland, Briar, Etta and Wynn, and many other loving members of the Rees and Creamer Families, and many friends and co-workers.  Family will receive friends from 12:00p.m.-6:00p.m. TUESDAY, JANUARY 4, 2022 at the CYPRESS WESLEYAN CHURCH, 377 ALTON DARBY CREEK ROAD, GALLOWAY, OH 43119, where his Funeral Service will be held 11:00a.m. WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 5, 2022 with Pastor Danny Vanscoy, officiating.  Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, West Jefferson, Ohio.  In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to consider a memorial contribution be made to the family to assist with expenses.  The Rader-McDonald-Tidd Funeral Home, 1355 W.
